In 1989, Prof. Vilas T. Shete, dreamt of imparting education with a difference. Armed with resilience and unwavering commitment, he began his journey with a small tuition class in Kalyan. Under his dynamic leadership, Shete's Institute of Academics prospered further and today proudly boasts of a 50,000 alumni network and over 2000 students who study here, every year.
Today, Shete's is not only one of the result-oriented institutes in Kalyan but also a coaching class that aims at instilling values such as discipline, perseverance and hard work amongst its students. Thousands of students take pride in their well-paid jobs, professions and businesses and many of them credit their success to the strong foundation at Shete's.
Shete's Institute's, Science Department started in 2017. Since then we have grown exponentially in terms of developing digital infrastructure, resource material, faculty, exam preparation strategies & structured study plan. We have achieved this through our disciplined approach thus helping our thousands of students to achieve their academic goals.

For almost 4 decades, the name Shete's has been synonymous with quality education, at affordable cost. We are proud of the following core values, which set us apart.
We do not deny admission to any student. Rather, we believe in fanning the flame of excellence, however tiny the spark may appear. As a result, past failures at school and college levels, have gone on to become highly successful professionals, corporate leaders and entrepreneurs.
For the oft ignored FYJC, our faculties take extra pains to ensure that they teach not just for marks, but also to develop strong fundamentals of each subject. We know that a firm foundation will ensure long lasting success, and we take pride in teaching the "Why" rather than just the "How"!
Discipline plays a crucial role in a student's life. At Shete's, we strongly believe in disciplined behaviour and we nurture our students with our core values. Discipline acts as a directional path that we exhibit to our students, ultimately instilling self-controlled and responsible behaviour.
Failure is the stepping stone to success. At national level exams like CA/CS/CMA, even a dedicated student may get a shocking result. Motivating them not to lose heart and to keep going at it; ensuring they rise like a phoenix, is our biggest strength.
One of our proudest moments- granting admission to the Son/daughter of our own past student. Today, our students include several youngsters from the second generation. Many of them have also come back to Shete’s in the form of highly successful faculties. We are honoured, indeed!
