CS Executive: Mastering Corporate Governance
The CS Executive Programme is the second stage of the Company Secretary course, designed to provide a deep understanding of corporate laws, securities, and financial management. Under the New Syllabus 2022 (applicable in 2026), the curriculum consists of seven papers divided into two modules.
Course Structure (New Syllabus)
- The papers follow a hybrid pattern with 20% case-study-based objective questions and 80% descriptive questions, with the exception of Paper 4, which is entirely descriptive.
Passing Criteria
To clear the CS Executive level, a candidate must meet the following marks requirement in a single sitting:- Per Paper: Minimum 40% marks.
- Per Module: Minimum 50% aggregate marks in all papers of that module.
- Exemption Rule: If you score 60% or more in a paper but fail the module, you are granted an exemption for that paper in subsequent attempts, provided you meet the specific minimum marks in the remaining papers.
Registration & Eligibility (2026)
To clear the CSEET, a candidate must meet the following in one sitting:- Eligibility: Candidates must be at least 17 years old. You must have cleared the CSEET or be eligible via the Direct Entry Route (Graduates/Post-graduates with 50% marks, or CA/CMA Final passers).
Mandatory Pre-Exam Requirements
Before enrolling for the examination, students must complete:- One-Day Orientation Programme (ODOP): A mandatory introductory session.
- Pre-Examination Test: An online test for each subject to ensure you are exam-ready.
