CS Professional: The Final Frontier of Governance
The CS Professional Programme is the third and final level of the Company Secretary course. It is designed to transform students into high-level Corporate Professionals, focusing on global corporate governance, secretarial audit, and strategic decision-making.
Course Structure (New Syllabus 2022)
- Under the current syllabus (applicable for the 2026 sessions), the curriculum is divided into two modules consisting of seven papers in total.
Elective Options
Students can specialize in areas that align with their career aspirations:- Elective 1: CSR & Social Audit, Internal & Forensic Audit, Intellectual Property Rights, or Artificial Intelligence/Data Analytics.
- Elective 2: Arbitration & ADR, Labour Laws, Financial Services & Capital Markets, or Banking & Insurance.
Mandatory Prerequisites
To be eligible for the CS Professional exams, candidates must complete:- CS Executive: You must have cleared both modules of the CS Executive level .
- Pre-Examination Test: Completion of the online pre-exam test for all professional subjects.
- Registration Cut-offs:
For June Exam: Register by November 30 (both groups) or January 31 (single group).
For December Exam: Register by May 31 (both groups) or July 31 (single group).
Passing Criteria
- Per Paper: Minimum 40% marks.
- Per Group: Minimum 50% aggregate marks in each group.
- Exemption: A score of 60% or more in a paper provides a permanent exemption for that subject.
